Thinking Out Loud

The power of the Internet is at its most magical when people think out loud. But thinking out loud is not something that comes easily to most of us. We fear we’ll be judged harshly, or that our ideas will be stolen. Sometimes projects will fail to materialise. Sometimes we will fail, and to fail openly is to fail publicly. There are all kinds of vulnerabilities there.

I Want To Think Out Loud More Often

I have these moments, especially on Facebook — where family and old high school friends seem to live, where I realise people don’t know what I’m doing because I don’t tell them.

I want to think out loud more often. I want to use this blog as a vehicle for doing this. I want to publish glib thoughts, terrible first drafts and unresolved design work here. And I shall. And it will be okay, really.

Why not join me for the ride?

  • I’ll be there! My blog-thoughts are undergoing change as well. Good luck to both of us!
